The WDFOA membership includes over 200 active members and approximately 110 associate and probationary members.

Currently the WDFOA provides football officials to public high schools in Washington, DC, as well as Calvert, Charles, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, and St. Mary's Counties in Maryland; Catholic high schools in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. We also provide officials for colleges, semi-pro teams and military bases.

As one of the largest and longest serving football officials organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region, the WDFOA has produced numerous officials that have gone on to successful careers in the NCAA and the NFL. Despite these successes our primary goal remains to provide fully qualified, knowledgeable officials to high schools in the greater Washington, DC area.

The WDFOA is always looking for new members. Training for new officials in 2009 has already commenced. Please contact one of the WDFOA Board members or a member of the Membership Committee to sign up or to learn more about the organization.
